About My Lessons
It is my mission to add musical enrichment into the lives of every student whether they are a casual beginner or an experienced performer. In my over 10 years of teaching and performing, I have found that one of the most important goals of music teaching is to provide students with the technical and emotional means to help reach their own individual musical goals, rather than imposing a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Through this, my students will learn not just how to play songs—they will become musicians!
I believe that every student is valuable and I know I teach much more than just music. All my students get numerous transferrable skills from studying with my unique holistic approach to music teaching. Kids can show marked improvement in school performance and have increased chances of college acceptance and scholarships. Adult students can improve their quality of life by reducing stress by having a creative outlet that balances their work and personal lives. All students can advance their creative problem-solving abilities, achieve higher levels of confidence, and improve their communication skills by studying music!
I am currently available in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area at a conveniently centralized location at my studio in Federal Way, WA where I service happy students from all over the Puget Sound including the cities of Federal Way, Auburn, Fife, Milton, Algona, Highline, Des Moines, Kent, Tacoma, Seattle, Gig Harbor, Bellevue, Mercer Island, University Place, Renton, Puyallup, and Issaquah.

♪ All musical styles including traditional classical, rock / pop keyboard, electronic music, film and video game music, and more. I utilize specialized results-driven programs for each style, focused on exactly what students need to master for success in each genre
♪ Clear long-term lesson plans complete with goals, achievements, and performance opportunities
♪ A song-based teaching system so students learn music they love while building a solid musical foundation
♪ Lessons are customized to the student's interests, goals, and needs
♪ We build a comprehensive musical foundation by using fun computer-based tools to help develop ear training, understanding of music history, theory, and performance practices
♪ Creativity is encouraged and developed with songwriting, unique arrangements of popular songs, and practical application of music theory!
♪ Preparation for solo contests, adjudications and master classes, music AP tests, Royal Schools of Music testing, and college music program auditions is available
